Happy New Year

Play Video

Wow, a YouTube video, blog post & a Tikok/Reel? All in one day!? 2023 is off to a wild start for me. It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a video of just me talking to the camera and to be honest, it felt weird and took me 3 attempts to record what ended up in the video. The lack of content has been a combination of me experiencing a bit of a burn out break, but also exploring what I feel comfortable sharing on the internet going forward.

First of all, I want to thank you all for sticking with me and continuing to support my channel even though I haven’t been as active as I usually am. Your support means the world to me, and is a big part of what keeps me motivated to continue to create.

New Year's Eve 2023

So, what’s been going on? Well, to be honest, a lot has happened in the past year. There are a few things I can’t talk about yet and some personal stuff came up that required a lot of my time and attention. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I’m happy to say that things are starting to settle down now, and I’m excited to get back to creating things.

Whether that’s stuff for just one platform or many, I don’t know yet. I really surprised myself with how much I was able to do in a day. Granted, this video wasn’t scripted or planned in any way, but I can’t imagine going this hard on multiple platforms multiple times a day. I never had the goal of making content creation my full time job, probably because of my ADHD. Even while editing today’s video video, I learned a few things about using my phone as an external mic and how to fix audio drift. I couldn’t figure out what was happening and was about to scrap the whole thing and be done with it.

However, I love learning new techniques and applying the m to my work. It’s wild to see how much my editing style has changed over the many years I’ve been on YouTube. I would like to continue to use the platform as a visual diary for myself and the people in my life. I do go back and watch my videos (some more often than others) and it makes me happy to relive those wonderful memories.

Decided I was ready to start making content again. At my own pace. 🎬🪩🎉🍾

Per usual I have some new ideas for videos that I could make this year and I hope I get around to making them. I can’t give away too much just yet, but I think you’ll really enjoy what I have in mind.

I would like to hit the milestonre of 5,000 subscribers on YouTube, since I’m not that far off. I don’t know if making more videos that arn’t Disney related will help or hurt that endevour but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Again, I just wanted to apologize for the lack of content and thank you all for your continued support. I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and creating more videos for you all.

Thank you so much for watching, and I wish you all a fantastic new year!

TLDR; It’s the first day of 2023 and I made content
